Good morning to all and Happy Whiskers Wednesday! We've talked about our favorite colors from time to time but what about the colors we don't particularly like or we don't think compliment us. I don't like maroon/burgundy in clothes and feel like it doesn't go with my complexion. I don't like yellow painted rooms in the house. I'm not sure why I don't like it since I have some yellow tops but my taste in colors for clothes doesn't necessarily match my preferred house colors. How about you?

QUESTION OF THE DAY - WHAT ARE YOUR LEAST FAVORITE COLORS?

Yellow-it tends to be too bright and hurts my eyes.

I don't care for brown. It's too gloomy.

Mustard Yellow
Lime or Neon Green
Orange-Red

Yellow, for sure. There is rarely a shade of yellow that I actually like. Some shades of orange aren't great either, but some of the autumn-like and darker shades are actually pretty. Although not a typical color, I guess, I do not like metallic gold. I much prefer silver or copper for metals.

Army green (Not olive green, but the nasty dark yellow-greenish-brown also known as hex code 5b5320.) And all the fluorescent colors.


I came looking for someone saying puce. I LOVE puce, especially muted puce. Of course, a lot of people think puce is similar to chartreuse.

Yellow. I look awful in it and dislike it for decorating also.

Yellow in paint and clothing; it makes me look yellow-green and just gross. Very light yellow is ok though. Most yellow interiors are not pretty to me. It's better as an accent.

Neons and that sort of "neutral" beige when people try to wear it as anything other than shoes.

I forgot about the color brown and agree it's one of my least favorite colors.

I really don't think there is a color that I don't care for.

Yellow looks dreadful on me, but I really like the colour itself. I painted Mr Husband's climbing walls yellow and they reflect a lovely warm light back into the house now.

I don't like beige, grey, fawn or any of those other neutral blah colours.
