I like comedy, drama, and science fiction. Most of my favorites are very old though-these genres have changed a bit since then

Pretty much anything as long as it's well done although perhaps drama tops all. I do not care for horror/slasher type films. I really do enjoy being frightened by films.

I like adventure or survival films, like Castaway. A natural disaster, zombie apocalypse, or someone lost in the wilderness and I will likely watch it.

RomComs are my favorite, but I haven't seen a good one made in the last decade or so (at least). I also love comedies and psychological thrillers.

Comedy and historical dramas. I like suspense - a la Alfred Hitchcock, but not slasher films. I like the 40's through 60's classics especially anything with Cary Grant.

I love comedies....the stupider the better. My favorite all-time movies are Animal House, Airplane, Caddyshack, Blazing Saddles, etc.

I also really like some, not all, science fiction/fantasy movies such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Close Encounters, etc.

And then combine comedy with science fiction for movies like GalaxyQuest and Space Balls.

Oh, I don't know.

I don't watch a lot of movies, I have trouble sitting still and concentrating that long.

I have a few favourite directors, so I guess anything by Wim Wenders, Jim Jarmusch, Akira Kurosawa or Pedro Almodavar.

I'm a bit of a sucker for a good fantasy or Sci Fi.. but clever, not just visual effects.

You have good taste in comedies. I also love History of the World part 1. Comedy horror like the Evil Dead series are great too.
