A easy question for you today ....


What colour is your front door ?




Mine is white

Sort of a mocha brown with beige trim. It's pretty boring looking, but I'm okay with that. Mr. Cheeser got a little carried away with bright turquoise paint at our last house.

blue-grey (the exterior of the house is blue-grey) with white trim, and black address numbers and a black carriage lantern just beside it.

I have to confess I don't quite "get" the "ok we have a house with one color and we're going to have a door of a different color ---that reaches right on out there and touches you" LOL

Red. Not a bold red; more sedate. It matches the shutters and came this way.

Wood coloured - just pine I think, with a couple of shades darker varnish to protect it from the weather.

Dark reddish brown. It's darker than our brick. I never really thought about it. The door is one thing that doesn't need repair currently.

Red. Blue house with black shutters. And a red front door.

You know what? I don't even know. I guess I've never given it much thought and bothered to look.

Ours is varnished natural white oak, with a beveled glass center.

I should mention when I moved into this house in 2004 it had original 1959 front doors painted a deep deep turquoise but that wasn’t the worst part. Each door had four glass windows that went from the top to nearly the bottom of the door so neighbors and anyone passing by could see you as you sat in the kitchen or living room. I spent a year with paper taped over those windows before I bought my boring fake wood doors. They are paintable, but I am too lazy.

I have a beige door. The house is beige with brown trim. Bo-ring.

The door to my apartment is stained wood and the doors to the building are white or black trim but they are mostly glass.

Black Sapphire (the trim is Cracked Pepper)

Dark Brown. It's kind of boring, but it's made of heavy duty metal (to keep the bears out?) so it's difficult to re-paint it.
