This kinda reminds me of my cat Shadow. She's got arthritis really bad and the only thing that makes her decide that going upstairs is worth the pain is when the downstairs is being vacuumed.

There was two parts to this as I wanted a closer up version so I merged the two parts into one file. As this was uploading to youtube I went back to the door to see what was going on, Symba was still there growling, I said to him: "No way are you going outside to fight that cat." Wrong answer. He turned around and went to attack me! So knowing that you can't reason with a cat when they are in that mode I went into the bedroom and shut the door. Let him cool off. Then went back and he came up to me and was rubbing me all over as much to say: "I better mark you with lots of my scent." Then he came into the bedroom and hopped on to the bed expecting a back rub! While he was there I played the file back on the phone, he started to growl again! I shut the phone off and he resumed the "Please give me my back rub position." So I gave in and gave him a little rub, he turn started to purr. Everyday our cats teach us about how fast they can change moods.
What is interesting is how much the marking are alike on the other cat. I did a screen grab but being he is on the other side of the screen it is not to clear but you get the idea.

This has been Hekitty's attitude towards me from day one, And I MEAN day one. I picked her out when she was 12 hours old because she was the only kitten in the litter who hissed at me!

I bet you, Symba and all the neighborhood toms are going to breath a sigh of relief when he finally gets neutered.
