He said he doesn't think that he has to see her, seeing as she's active, playing and eating okay and doesn't seem 'critical'. He said the inflammation (apparently the lumps on her ear were inflammation due to the infection?? Is this a common thing??) should go down if the medicine works, and they have! She's also not screaming at all if I touch them, and I can actually start to see inside her ear again! :-) If she's not at least 50% better by Thursday-ish we'll take her in :-) And no he's not very far at all!! I think he's about 10-20 minutes from my place?? Maybe a little bit more, but it's not as far as the University (it would've taken us like an hour to get the University if we opted to go!!)That is great, that you talked with the vet. Does he want to see her as well, to check that the antibiotic drops are working? Is he far away from you? Now that you are oin contact woith a vet, maybe your mother will agree to a visit.
I'm really excited that we've finally got proper treatment for her though!! Hopefully everything will go according to plan and her infection will clear out by the end of the week :-)
