Yes, I would love to just babble on about cats, and in general just babble on about whatever strikes our fancy. It's so relaxing for me! I enjoy quiet activities like this.

Thank you! I think I was blessed with a swell potpourrie of kittens - no two are alike - and all are sweet and have their own little traits. I'm enjoying all of them! :)

Are they all going to stay with you so that they can be together as a family or are you trying to find them new homes?

The quad... they all are quite cute.
Prissy and mom look like they belong together. Little Prissy is a great name. Looks like she's gonna be a little princess too

@NewYork1303   I'm always so jealous of snuggling kitties... it's been just about a year now and ours still are separated. They interact through the gates but Tempest can't deal with Sinbad yet without a barrier between them.

@Losna  I hope that one day they like each other. I know some cats don't like other cats. We had one cat from when I was five all the way until last year. She couldn't deal with other cats, so after the two other cats that we got for our home vanished, we ended up having her as an only cat.

I had a cat for about 5 yrs. I thought id get him a sister. Big mistake, he was making much happier being an only child. Occasionally, when i went out I'd come home to clumps of hair. Everywhere.

I am keeping the whole family! :)

Mom was spayed at 8 weeks and her children at 12 weeks.

She came to me as a pregnant stray and I took her in. Mom is incredibly sweet.

I had to put my last old kitty down in April, so I needed a new cat family.

Prissy is very much the princess! She's the only girl and so very sweet. She also adores her mom and loves to be with her! :)

That's adorable! They are both getting so big. How old is your daughter now?
She will be 3 on September 4. I can't believe it's been almost 3 years since she was born. The years have flown by. Her birth seems like it was just yesterday but at the same time it seems like her crazy horrible birth was just a bad nightmare in the past.

Will say good night for now. Very tired. Been caring for my dad for last 3 yrs. He passed a few weeks ago. We are all just trying to get stronger from putting most our energy into making sure he was as comfortable and content as possible. It was peaceful and he was not in pain. We remain grateful

We have two cats.  My husband was/is concerned we'll end up with six.  He seems to think we have six of everything.  I do have 6 cat trees though.  I think I would like to get another male cat for Eclipse to play with when Fluffy doesn't want to play anymore.  there is a cute one at the rescue, Black and his tail loops at the end, not a deformity just how he carries it.  He is about the same age as Eclipse and likes to play.  I'm pretty sure he was there when we adopted him.  It's sad he hasn't been adopted yet but at least he is in a foster home and not a shelter.

Cats are like potato chips, it is so hard to have just one. or two. or three. They all have wonderful personalities. Who can stand one waiting any amount of time for a home? At my local shelter a six year old cat that has been waiting almost a year and a half was just adopted today. Poor kitty.

I must have weird cats: they never jump on the counter or on the dining table, they don't scratch furniture, they all get along although none of them cuddle up with each other, mostly they come when I call them, they don't try to run out the front door and they all use their litter boxes religiously. What do they have to keep them such good cats: one only person to care for them and love them, 4 regular litter boxes and a LitterRobot, , a dish for each of them although that doesn't always work out, one circulating porcellaine water fountain, plenty of toys and mom playing with them every day, only two cats at a time who can sleep with mom and that is at random, 3 scratching posts, 3 cardboard scratching pads, one cat tree which is on the enclosed patio on the second floor with 5 chairs in which they can and do sleep, a cat door leading to the the patio, canned food once a day and kibble available all the time. What kind of cats do I have: Birman seal point Capucchino, age 16, been with me since age 7 months, Persian Bebe, age 16, here for last 4 years, DSH black Panthera, age 8, here for 4 years, DLH black Patrick, age 4 , he's a foster, here since September 2014, and Birman mix?? diluted seal point Marocchino who looks like pure bred but with faulty coloring on legs, age 10?, adopted from shelter where she has been twice (complaint: she hides a lot!!!) , overweight, no, plain fat!!! now on a diet for the last 6 weeks and is getting around better. I must be doing something right to keep all these cats in line without use of a spray bottle or other "punishments" and no clicker training either.

Black cats do seem to have a hard time being adopted, I don't know why, they are the most loving cats.
