We narrowed it down. It seems to be more "invasive" touches. She was all stretched out in one of my arms and I moved my hand...and she nailed me (my hand was at her hind foot). When she nailed my husband, he had picked her up and her head was close to his...so, it seems it maybe a space...
So, we adopted this cat (name is pending). She seems like a very affectionate cat...likes to be with me so if I go in another room, she will soon be there, too. Cat introductions seemed to go ok. Mandy had her tail in a knot the first day. Patti (she was a trap/release) just can't get over...
Love these! Keep them coming! I believe with Lu, we went for the most votes! 🥰😻. I'm sending these to my husband and kids.
she's become a shadow...going where I go...She took my chair in the craft room. ❤️
Yea, not for me, either, but my dad had one for like 35 years before he decided to sell it and retire. It is still open today! I will tell you, you don't get rich off of being self-employed (especially basic retail). I remember how we struggled when I was little...not really having a whole...
Lucy just died last week from oral cancer. It was very hard and, really, it still is. However, when asked why I am not in corner bawling my eyes out (and I was for a few days), I said that I have been grieving her since October when the entire ordeal started. I've been crying for five months...
Thank you all. It's a little easier to swallow this morning, but I found myself calling her name when I woke up. Almost like I am trying to prove it really happened. My son and husband were at a skywarn event so I woke up with nobody in the house....and that was hard, too. I've been grieving...
I would watch him. If it continues and it starts to scab/sore, I would take him in. Lucy started doing this in the fall and it turned out she had bad teeth that need to be removed. But then....they found oral cancer in her jaw. So, my good advice would be that....just watch it carefully. If...
I am absolutely devastated right now. It's hard to even be home because I see Lucy EVERYWHERE. For 17 years, that cat has been with us. She was dx with oral cancer in January, but believe she had it before that (symptoms started in October)...and it's been a very rough 5 months. Tuesday...
She is urinating normally. I showed the picture of her stool and he said it's consistent with inflammation...like colitis. He checked her gut and she had no backup of feces at all and he said she feels as though she still needs to go because of the spasms in her rectal area. She is on a med...
Yesterday, Lucy was dx with what appears to be colitis. We were given a med (Metronidazole) for her and she received the first dose a few hours ago. She is now doing again what she did yesterday that prompted the vet visit. She gets in the box and tries to go...can't...jumps out...paces...gets...
We thought for sure this was Lucy's last day with us, but the vet said it's not her time yet...just by walking in and seeing her.. <3 She is not constipated. He said he didn't feel anything but did suggest due to the nature of the behavior and the picture of the stool, it is kind of like...
Lucy was dx with oral cancer in January. She is on gabapentin and meloxicam and has been doing pretty well. This morning, she was in her litter box as usual. She jumped out (as I thought to be normal when she's done), went into the bathroom, and resumed the position she had in the litter...
You know what??? I bet it is the med!!! That would completely make sense. We do clean her ear before a new application. I think we will try the other ear next time. We don't need to do it frequently....it appears to get her going for a good amount of days. This morning, it is cooler...
Lucy was dx with cancer (mouth) in January after a dental (but it existed before that...but nobody told me). After teeth extractions, she bounced back to Lucy again, although, I knew it would be mostly short-lived. She gets Gabapentin and meloxicam (vet determined the benefits outweigh the...
That is a LOT of money for Gabapentin! We got capsules (100mg) at Walgreen's for cheap (even cheaper with a GoodRX coupon!). Lucy couldn't tolerate the full 100 so we use half a capsule a day.
