Busy weekend @catapault ! Wet weather here today so indoor chores this morning, vacuuming at the top of the list. To my clinic for lab work this afternoon and I will probably stop at a nearby deli on my way home.
Really hard to tell until you can feel kittens moving which is quite late in the pregnancy. But if she is old enough to go into heat and has been outdoors or near intact males, the chance that she is pregnant is extremely high.
Sounds like a variation of the zoomies to me and a request for play. You could grab a handful of toys and toss the. one by one at him on the bed and see if he starts to play.
Willow, my former feral, was extremely skittish about food and even when she loved it never ate it all at once. She was also skittish about eating if I was anywhere near. I would leave her remaining wet food out and not pick it up when you leave. It won’t spoil and she may relax and eat it...
A train trip I took years ago. I flew to Toronto and the took a vintage train for four days west across canada to Vancouver. Beautiful scenery, great meals and interesting passengers from all over the world. Once in Vancouver I went sightseeing for a couple days, then took a train to Seattle...
When I was looking at houses prior to moving to this one, one requirement was that it be a single story. A bazillion split levels and I knew going up and down stairs would be an issue. Fortunately I finally found one. Getting a bathroom right off my room was a bonus. The only thing wish I...
Too funny. My former girl, Willow, was afraid of pretty much everything EXCEPT shoes. Those she sniffed and rolled on like they were filled with catnip. Anyone’s shoes, even strangers, were delectable.
They do. What I used though when I had a screen porch was bird netting that I added onto frames surrounding the screens. It kept claws from reaching the screen and they could not get through it.
I sympathize, one of mine was a mostly feral who didn’t trust me or any other humans. Catching her for anything was just so traumatic for both of us. And then not knowing if the hiding or not eating afterwards meant illness or just fear.
Anyway, I would try the churu route. Churu in one...
I don’t know but this afternoon I had another pair show up and the female tried her best to take a full bath in it, sort of the way a bird does. Splashed out about half the water ! I was thinking about maybe getting some kind of a larger water container for them. Thinking a litterbox, new of...
That is a good plan. If you are going to have anyone helping be sure the door to her room at the new place has a “cat inside, do not open” sign on it. And if you go in to check on her make sure no one is going out or coming in the main door when you do.
