Today Big Boy felt spry enough to lay across my computer keyboard.

They were a franchised operation that had stores in big malls. There was one in Richmond Mall back in Ohio, and when I was a kid mom and dad bought a lutino parakeet there for me for a Christmas present. They also sold fish, lizards, etc. and - infamously - overpriced purebred puppies. Years...

Di and Bob beat me to it. Miracle Grow 15-30-15 is water soluble and works great, and won't burn if used as directed. Give a good drink of water, wait a day, then give it the Miracle Gro. There's others, too, a whole galaxy of brand names.

Big Boy is still lively still lumpy still noisy and hanging in there. He seems to like the ipappy hyper T diet, holding steady for now at about 4-5 tins of canned cat food a day; some of it Fancy Feast others including basic canned kitty chow. He’s commanding me to let him jump in my lap.

Those mayfly hatches can be really really huge.

They're even getting them in Northern California, which I didn't think would have cicadas. They're fun bugs for the kitties, big enough to have fun with, and full of surprises, including "joy buzzer" sounds.
