Quinn vomited a 3-4 times again the past few days and then yesterday and early today he was coughing twice, or what seemed to be coughing. I am wondering if I need to get him rechecked or if it could be something else etc. His xray was totally clear on his recheck after taking clindamycin for four weeks. Zena continues on his puffs and fingers crossed has not coughed at all. Cinnamon has been sneezing again sometimes and then Quinn sneezed a couple of times last week, so I wonder if he gave something to Quinn? Cinn has fiv so he could have the chronic eye weep and sneezing. Wizard had it too and had that occasionally but he did not tolerate the recommended supplement.
I myself am quite sick now with I think bronchitis. It is awful. I went to a clinic and the doc was a total idiot and so rude etc. I will be making a complaint. I was up most of the night, coughing and sneezing with green mucus coming out etc, terrible spasms and it hurt to use my albuterol- needed it to help me breath. He tried to imply it was due to my blood pressure medicine. He also claimed that on pcr blood tests are never done in people which is false. I was going to do a pcr swab for covid too as I read people's reviews on this place which said they had neg tests for covid and then tested positive right after that somewhere else.
I asked for xray to make sure it is not pneumonia since I had back pain too, and he tried to pressure me not to have one. He told me at first he would give me an antibiotic and then said if my xray is clear he would not! I fortunately have one on hand at home which I started as soon as it went in my chest as I am high risk and have asthma.
He also did nothing about testing me for toxoplasmosis after the fuss because I called him out on his crap, after saying they could test me for that. He just said when I told him that is is more likely to cause cns symptoms in people. But it can cause pneumonia and lung issues too I have read, although usually more in immune compromised people.
Covid/flu test was negative but who knows if it is accurate. I did one neg covid at home also. I don't know how I got sick really, I still mask everywhere except at home, with kn95. I have not been ill at all with anything respiratory which is contagious since covid thanks to that, only once when a student came to class sat right in front of me sneezing and claimed it was allergies. But I got a cold right after and I think it was through my eyes.
This time I think it was my brother who has been going to inside places with no mask recently, but he was not symptomatic and was neg for covid also. But not he is only going to outside seating cafes now due to this.
Either that or it happened at one of two doc appointments I went to in person. I know masks are not 100% but I have not been sick at all except that once due to masks and being careful and telling students not to come in sick which I did for years anyway. I had to take my mask off to do the covid test and for something else. I hope they did not give me covid at this clinic.
I guess I will just call the dvm and she what she thinks. I think I am going to cancel my goodrx gold because I tried to do an online visit for that and it said they don't do them for infections, even though they told me they did when I signed up for it. I hope it is not too late to cancel it. This doc also did not discuss my xray at all even though it said my lungs were hyperinflated which can be a sign of damage from chronic lung disease.
