YouTube surfing (and thanks Australia)

I'm a big YouTube surfer and I'll hop around topics etc. I'm into The Prodigy at the moment and this vid popped up as a reccomendation.
I'm no expert on drumming but this guy looks brilliant to me. Technique aside, it's the performance that captured me. I find it fascinating. He's an Aussie so thanks to the land down under.

Not being a percussionist myself, I have to wonder how he gets his instruments placed so exactly that he can find everything immediately with just muscle memory, since he's obviously not looking. Can anyone enlighten me?

I think you've said it, muscle memory plus practice, practice, practice and more practice.
I would ask my brother who's a musician (guitar) but started on the drums but he's away at the moment.
