What do you think of Potty-Training a cat? I have read several things about
the subject, and it seems logical, at least the way they instruct you to do it.
But is it really possible, or is it a waste of time? I know that a fox was once trained to use the toilet....I saw it with my own two eyes, so maybe possible
with a cat.......they are so intelligent!!! thanks again!!

I think it's a very bad idea for a number of reasons.
Many cats like to play in water. Since the toilet lid needs to be up, that means that some cats will play in the toilet, also cats have been known to fall into the toilet while going to the bathroom. This could be fatal for a kitten and a clean-up nightmare when an adult falls in.

After awhile, cats can miss and go to the bathroom on the seat. I have one client who hired me to retrain the cat to use the box because no one could use the bathroom anymore due to the cat's missing.

And cats naturally want to dig and cover their excrement, why take that away from them just because we are too lazy to scoop?

I myself, wouldn't ever have the patience to teach a cat to do that!
And especially now, that I have a professional opinion, which has brought
forth something I didn't even think about, (them missing, and them digging)
I knew something had to be wrong with the whole idea to begin with!
I thank you again! I had a hard enough time toilet training my son!

I have no desire to attempt it with 5 cats! Talk about lazy!
I just
wanted your opinion and I'm so glad I asked!!! Hope you have a wonderful week!
