You realize that everything you thought YOU owned is really theirs.

I have a recliner that belonged to my DH. I don't use it and I moved it into a corner of the living room because it takes up too much space. I was thinking about dragging it to the curb and this happened.

Sophie: What are you doing?
Me: I was thinking about taking that chair to the curb.
Sophie: Why would you take my chair to the curb? I don't want to sit out there.
Me: YOUR chair?
Sophie: Yup. I decided that it's mine now so it stays.
Me: OK little girl. If it makes you happy I'll leave it there

She naps on it and under it all the time. Did she do that before I was thinking about getting rid of it? Nope. Cats can read minds. I'm convinced.
