depending upon the condition of the homeplumbing,electrical,roof,paint etc.for sure oh and the location of neighborhood an stuff. hoa would be a deal breaker though i refuse to live any place with one. have enough head aches dealing with the rental properties gf owns that have hoa 
never understand their logic of keeping huge planted trees that in time will grow roots right into the sewer mains along with other major piping in and around the yard/home that will cause you major plumbing issues and bills to fix
