Looks like a koala impression to me, maybe some type of monkey. Those must be heavy chairs. If my cat did that in my house, the chair would flip over onto him.I don't know what to call this. I don't know what to call most of what he does.

He was about 5 months old when that photo was taken. I don't think it would work very well now that he's a year old. He's still a little monkey.

Our kitty Bootsy does that on the front of our wine refrigerator. Like she's trying to get in. I noticed yesterday that the top half of the glass front is clean and the bottom half is dirty.
Looks more like boxing to me. Whatever she is doing she means business. She is realy outof the ordinary both in bauty and disposition.
