I will post a pic below.
On Saturday one of our cats wound up in the closet, he is a fearful cat and that's where he goes when he gets scared. I had no idea why at the time, but the next morning (yesterday) we noticed a wound (or lesion?) on his nose. It's now Monday, he is licking his nose a lot and hiding and sleeping a lot. Not playing, but he is still eating. I think he's now afraid of me because I've been trying to examine it so often. :/
My instinct is that he ran into something and it's just a small injury. But of course maybe it's something else. I can't stop him from licking it. Would it be useful to take him into our vet? Normally I can't get in right away anyway. So I'm wondering if there is some home care I could do?
It's at the very bottom of his nose, in the dip towards the mouth.
