I doubt it's real.

But yeah, at a normal walking pace, a person could walk about 1.5 miles in 23 minutes. And I don't think a rope bridge could be that long. So maybe it means that everybody who goes across has to go very slowly and carefully and that's what takes so long.

Ok, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge is 516 meters long, which is about 1/3 of a mile. And it looks considerably sturdier that that :tongue: .

I've found it's not the actual walking that takes the time. It's the stopping every step to clutch the hand rails tighter, screw your eyes shut and cry for your mum
