Worming kittens

I have a 7 week old kitten that needs deworming badly. I’ve had her for almost 2 weeks now (Sunday will be 2 weeks) I have some dewormer that I give my older cats & I know she’s old enough because it says over 6 weeks but it also says they have to be 2.5 pounds, she’s just a couple ounces shy of 2.5lbs. Would I be able to give her just a smaller dose or do I need to wait till she’s 2.5lbs? Her stomach is like a golf ball right now, she’s not constipated and is eating normally. I would think it’s because of the worms but I’m not 100% but I know I need to start her on her wormer ASAP.

An adorable calico! You can go ahead and worm her. Her weight is close enough. Her tummy may just be round though from eating lots that she needs to grow on.
