I thought I would start a new thread. Many of you have so much life experience, I thought it might be nice to have a spot where we could pass on our wisdom to others. For me, I am just in awe of the knowledge and life experience of so many of you and look forward to the words of wisdom below. Everyone I have ever met had some words they could relay to others to help them in their lives or with their cats. After all it is .

You said it. I'm right there with youWe are in the middle of a crisis health issue with a family member an it is astounding to me how self centered, selfish and completely non thinking people are. Why do some folks think everything is about them?

I've been down that road with a member of my husband's family. Personally I feel if they think everything is about them it's because they're narcissistic.

Yes you are correct narcissistic, self entitled, spoiled etc. Life is hard and it is work. It is not something new but right now who needs more drama?

There are a lot of Chicken Little types extant in the world. No matter what happens, it's "The sky is falling!!!!!"; avoid them like the plague. Do your own multi-source research, then decide for yourself if the sky really is falling, or it's just an acorn.

I agree, find just one thing good with every day and that day will be a little brighter. I was once told by a cardiologist if I lived through the night, I would live through the day. I watched the stars all that night and thought how wonderous the universe was. That was 50 years ago!
