I was just reading an article in my local paper.
A week or so ago it was announced that Nin the Official Cat at the Mount Washington Observatory was retiring. It's been news across the country.
The search for a successor is down to three candidates and this week someone came up with the idea of letting the public vote on his successor.
I think this is much more interesting than the real primary election.
Also, I read the on line edition and readers are able to post comments about the articles. A least one person has suggested they take all three finalists. He/she feels that there is more than enough room at the top and it would get two more out of their cages.
