Not a good day and I'm only 25 minutes into it. Ugh!! I can't stand my new boss. He is such an a-hole. Wants to know nothing about how this office works. I have about 800 hours of leave and I think starting Monday, I am going to be using it A LOT! Like come in and get the overnight evidence processed and put away and then leave every day. Take every Friday off too. The less time I spend here the better for my mental health. Oh, and start looking for another job. I can retire with a pension in 2025 so I have to stay with the City Government but I don't have to stay with the Police Department to get my pension.

Its always hard feelings left out of family things because you live far away. Its worse with covid saying you can’t even make the usual once a year trip.
