I like Sebastian the best.

It depends on the cat or kitten On reflection, Shredder would have been a purrfect name for my Shenka (his great love in life is shredding any paper or cardboard he can get his paws and teeth on ).

I always like to look at the prospective names and think how I might shorten/play with them too...every cat I've ever had has developed a long list of nicknames over time, and some names lend themselves to that better than others

Simon and Simeon were also names that I considered. I forgot to add them to my list.

Slater, Stewie, Sigmund, Sawyer, Sterling, and Smitty are a few others.

All good choices but I like Sampson, aka Sam for short.

Yep, I suppose I could call him Sammy too.

I am kind of leaning toward Sherman, Solomon, Seymour, and Sebastian as my top four picks. I will PROBABLY choose one of these.
