I've never been adopted by a purebred
but i am very attracted to the sphinx and lynx cats. Of course my heart really belongs to whatever stray picks me up...

I don't think I'd ever buy a purebred, but I admit to being squarely in the Scottish Fold camp.
I might adopt one from a rescue group someday, if one ever comes up. They neeeever do.

Id have to go with an Exotic first then onto bengals, maine coons, ragdolls, then a siamese (I loved the siamese on Aristocats and wanted one ever since I saw that movie)

We had a fold at our local shelter once

I've never had a purebred until we adopted Yuki who is Turkish Angora, so I'd have to say my favorite is Turkish Angora :) 

I also think Savannah Cats look pretty cool, but they're so giant!
