Heck that's not cold. Try 19F/-6C that's happening here in Iowa. I don't begin to layer up till the temperature drops below 32F.Dropped suddenly last night down here too- 56F,I'm ready to put the heat on,my hands feel like ice and I'm wearing long pants,socks and a knit sweater with a sweater jacket over it!!!!
I'm readingneely temps and embarrassed to say- IM FREEZING!

Once upon a time,a very long time ago I could wear shorts in anything above 32F.....My Dad & I both enjoyed the winter,my Mom used to grab our hands ,amazed how warm they were....we had her take photos one day out in the snow,we put our swim suits on,put out beach blankets across the snow drifts with umbrellas and we tossed a beach ball,laughing and having so much fun..... silly but fun photos
Those days are long gone- now I'm shivering below 75F..
I do believe I'd acclimate to cold weather if I moved... maybe wishful thinking,I dunno
We had a high of -2 C yesterday afternoon, it dropped down to -8C last night. It`s still below freezing this morning and very windy. We don`t have proper paved roads where I live, just dirt tracks. The ground has frozen so the wheel ruts in the dirt are now set like stone.

12F when I woke up and 2F with the windchill. I went into the city regardless and dressed in layers with hand warmers in my gloves.
Not too bad today, -14C, but sunny.

A light jacket or hoodie with leggings and cotton top. I usually don't turn the heat on until late October to mid-November.18F and very sunny at 10AM.

Temp is 15 F windchill is 11F and snow in the forecast and not happy about the snow as we have to make a 3 hour drive over to the other side of the state for retirement party - hope it won't seem like the song - Slip Sliding Away.
It will be warmer today.. highs in mid 30's.. still having winds.. sigh.. Snow flurries tomorrow..

We are just not used to those temperatures anymore. We are getting 20 here a lot this year and it feels incredibly cold better then teens or below zero but still COLD! The crazy winds here really get to me.We had 47 mph last night and I was happy the door locks held
