You want weird? Today it's 70° F and tomorrow is calling for a foot of snow.

In the Netherlands it's 4 degrees Celsius. I have never understood fahrenheit. It seems so logical to me that 0 is the freezing point and everything under it is freezing and everything above it gets gradually warmer

Storm Henk has been giving us a very miserable start to 2024 - my neighbour's tiles came off their roof and our recycling bins have blown away!

I know right! We only had it like one day in the Netherlands and I would have been blown away if I went outside

I have never understood fahrenheit. It seems so logical to me that 0 is the freezing point

And visa versa for me, I have trouble with Celsius. Freezing for us in the states is 32F. My daughter is studying in the UK and had to learn the different terminology for the metric system. Sometimes she forgets to change it back to U.S. terms when I talk to her.

Waiting for the NEW NorEaster to arrive.. Along the coast anywhere from 6-8 inches.. UGH... Have to remember to charge laptop and phone tonight. And get the storm supplies out: lanterns, radio, flashlight....Just in case. I have to be careful with the refrigerator. If power goes out, Geoffreys chemo pills are in there.
The storm should end Tuesday night.. I think Clean-up will be Wednesday morning.

Parked my car in a different spot. Yesterday, when I came home from church, all the spots were taken; including the one I had just left.
I had to park, right against the building, next to loading dock. I have never parked there during a storm. We will see how it turns out..

Presently 27F/-5C. Sunshine this morning. A high of 45F suggested today.

Right now it is 28F. supposed to get to 57 today. It has been a really nice winter, had two weeks of below normal weather the first of the year, and that was it! We have 50's and high 40's all week. In February! My outside cats are happy!

You don't have assigned parking at your apt. building? Never been back East, but this seems like it would be a pain.
