Yeah, it's gross. Probably won't be steamy, more likely dry - I'm on the south coast, it's not a humid part of the country, generally. More like walking into an oven! There's a total fire ban and extreme fire danger warning out for today. Fingers crossed the predicted rain arrives tonight.
We get into the 100's but humid here. If your outside for enough time you look like you took a shower with your cloths on. I feel for you super uncomfortable

And I for you! Humid heat is even worse than dry, imo. I lived in Queensland for a couple of years and it was almost always humid and hot. I was so glad to come back to Victoria!

Not so much in Winter catloverfromwayback catloverfromwayback .
You would absolutely hate it here at the moment. I hate it here at the moment! The humidity is extreme; like walking into a sauna. And Summer has only just started. :(

My sister (who's near Bundaberg) said the same thing yesterday - they've had a bit of rain at last but it's been SO hot and humid.
Winter was the merest moment of relief in the two years I lived up there. Not that Victorian winters count as such by northern American or European standards, either!
