The thermometer says 51F but it feels colder. Supposed to get rain this afternoon. Since I still have some work to finish up in the yard I hope the rain holds off.
We have had a gorgeous fall this year in Nebraska, we are still having temps in the 50's and 60's. We haven't even had a freeze yet, just some frosts. 28 or so has been our lowest. all my perennials are still green which is a problem if they start growing again. so far the light frosts have kept them in check. I had to cut them back, it's the middle of November! 40's are showing up in a week though for highs. My cats have all their heated huts set up, and are using them. Very windy the last two days, tomorrow will be gorgeous, no wind and 65. I plan on bringing some firewood up on the porch and fill up the holders in the basement. We have even had RAIN!!! two inches a week ago, a little even this AM, and more frocasted for monday. Wonderful!
It's being weird here at present. Yesterday was 34C. It didn't drop below 18C overnight. Now it's raining and windy and has, at midday, dropped to 13C - and the weather bureau website says "feels like 2.9" which is nearly freezing point! And it's chilly but doesn't feel remotely that cold. And we're only a fortnight from summer. Not that I mind if it stays this way, I'd much rather cool weather than hot!
It was 69 degrees here and we did bbq after a day of working with some cats. Today was 62 and by Thursday it will be 60. Weather has been bizarre here I am still waiting for a freeze that should have happened 3 weeks ago.
Fairly comfortable, sunny and 2C. Suppose to go up to 8C.

Beginning Thursday we Will finally get some rain!! We need it so badly. Fires everywhere! Each morning, when I want to open the windows; I have to crack them first, take a sniff to see if I can smell smoke.
This morning, I did not do that, I just opened the bedroom window a bit. Smoke scented air filled my apartment.
The rain is predicted to last from Thursday into Friday, with a bit on Saturday and maybe Sunday.. the first rain since September.
The temps will drop quite a bit during the storm.

Currently 39F with snow, showers and wind predicted for tonight. It's going to be a blustery day tomorrow too.

50 and a little windy currenty
Cloudy, rainy, damp. Yuck! 1C.
Yesterday it was 23C and really humid, very unpleasant. Only went down to 19C overnight, and rained - nastiest night I've had in quite a while. Today it went up to 30C, then rain came about 3pm, and started getting heavy in about half an hour - and now the temperature's dropped over 10 degrees. There are severe storm warnings out over a lot of the state, and already flooding in the lowest-lying parts of Geelong, like the last time we had a huge storm a few weeks ago. Glad I'm on top of a hill!

34F but clear and not windy which is fine with me. However, tomorrow's high is supposed to be 26F and very windy.
Come to Iowa, we have plenty of Cooler weather here.
Got a little bit of snow this afternoon and currently 18 degrees, heading down to 11 overnight.
