8:00 pm it is 87 and feels like 92.
it was over 100 at some point earlier today, felt like 107 or some such. Going outside is like walking into a furnace. I went out around noon, walked around the house because we had someone powerwash. Then I stood out front and looked at the plants because I have someone coming to help me with them and I was drenched by the time I went in.
We had an excessive heat advisory earlier and right now its just a regular heat advisory.
High tomorrow predicted 100, with a chance of afternoon T-Storms.
It has been getting hotter and hotter here every year lately. Nobody is going to convince me global warming isn't real.

Expecting over 100 today, its already 80 but feels much hotter. I am with misty8723 misty8723 on global warming the change this year and the past couple years is dramatic. Sure we normally get mid to high 90's here and there, but days upon days of high 90's to 100+ without any rain at all is new here

More hot and humid weather predicted today. The south suburbs had major storm damage last night and some of the north suburbs had flooding. Many areas lost electricity due to downed power lines and service teams are out checking the 13 areas that had tornado warnings. Thankfully it''s supposed to be milder with less humidity tomorrow.

We've been having a bit of a non-summer where I live, but (touch wood :tree:) things have been looking up over the last few days. Yesterday was the first day in a while that I felt warm enough in a t-shirt and shorts. Today we were forecast around 65F and rain by lunchtime, but instead it's been warmer and was sunny up until a few minutes ago. Dad and I used the extra dry to get some gardening done.

One of my daughters lives in the UK and when I talked to her over the weekend she told me how chilly it was there. I'll have to check with her tomorrow to see if it warmed up by her too. Thanks for the good news.

Feh! Temperatures have been in the triple digits with high humidity. Today's high was 102 degrees Fahrenheit. BIG thunderstorm arrived about 6:00 p.m. Trees whipping around, wind gusts to 70 mph. Got about 3/4 inch of rain in short order. Power is out.

And we have neighbors coming for dinner tomorrow.

This is going to be interesting, to say the least.

It's 77ºF (25/26 ºC) here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada! Plus 65% humidity. OY. I walked into the apartment from walking the dog and there was a wall of humidity as soon as I went through the door. It was awful :( . AC is on. Supposed to reach 90ºF (30-ish ºC) in a day or two. OY!
