Unbelievable, it's 70F now but severe storms and very strong winds in the forecast for later today.

Mother Nature is playing a cruel April Fools joke on us.
It's been snowing ALL DAY and it ain't over yet. On top of the 10 cm we got (and is still falling) today, we're supposed to get 10 cm overnight and another 15-20 cm tomorrow. Temps are mild but there is a damp chill in the air.
When will winter be OVER! :bawling:

Currently 52F and overcast. I spent most of this afternoon Watching Severe weather Warnings for my area. Fortunately we just had Heavy rain.Though Tornadoes did touch down in other communities.

Local sirens and the emergency alert went off on our phones and scared Carleton. :eek: Lightning, thunder and rain coming down in sheets.

My husband has a shop cat, so even if he doesn't have any jobs to do he has to go in to feed and spend time with the kitty. Well...he left over an hour ago (for what is usually a 6-8 minute drive) and just called now, to say that if things don't improve outside he'll probably have to spend the night. He got stuck twice on his way to work, the snow was up over the wheels of our van, even on the highways. The snow is supposed to stop later this afternoon, so hopefully the plows will get out there and do their thing so he can come home. If he has to stay, he'll be relatively comfortable, but he only has junk food to eat...mostly chocolate bars.....maybe he'll have to eat the cat food! LOL!

Currently 50F but we just had a severe thunderstorm w/wind, hail and a tornado warning. 🌪

Eleven inches of snow on 4/1, and next week we will be in the upper 60’s and low 70’s all week. Haven’t seen those temps since Sept!
