Nothing has changed since Christmas, still warm, no sign of snow

its a nice 51 degrees today ... much better then the past few days of sheer frigid and windy temps

We're having a heat wave here - it was a whopping 56F today! Boy what a difference a week can make - last week at this time we were in the deep freeze below zero.

It’s been above freezing, 34-36 degrees F this week and feels so good. At those temps we Minnesotans go without hats and gloves. I used this warmup to scrape off the slush from the driveway and squeegee out a huge amount of water and slush from inside the garage. And, if you are going to take down your exterior Christmas decorations best to do it at 35 rather than 10 below. The cold will absolutely be coming back but so nice to have this reprieve.
