Currently 25F but 8 w/windchill and very, very windy. Fortunately the sun came out today which helped melt some of the snow from yesterday.

The snow has stopped- for now, at least, but we got another 3" overnight on top of the 7" we got yesterday. It's 19°F, but with steady winds of 30mph and gusts over 50mph, the wind chill is in the single digits.

Should be 40 F. here today. Maybe most of the last snowfall will melt off. There's not that much, but winds keep blowing it over the driveway after I clear it. Not gonna do it any more. Three times is enough.

I was woken up by loud lightning, hail against the windows and non-stop rain early this morning. It's still raining but luckily the lightning and hail has stopped. The temp is 37F now.

Serious snowstorm going on. It was supposed to hit yesterday and I thought it had missed it but today heavy, heavy continuous snow. The estimate was 6-14 inches and we may hit that higher end.

Freezing rain overnight. Power went out early in morning. JCP&L said it would be restored midday. When that did not happen and Himself called in again they said 5:00 p.m. When he called in at 6:00 p.m. they said 7:00 p.m.

And power was restored about 7:15 p.m.

We do have a whole house generator but even when it is running the Internet is unavailable.

Warm enough in the afternoon that the ice all melted.

It's 24F now but tomorrow is supposed to be sunny in the high 30's. A perfect day for a nice walk if it's not too windy.
