Temps in the 90's and it's supposed to be above 100 F with the heat index today. We finally got some much needed rain yesterday but after driving home in a downpour I found this in my backyard from the neighbor's trees.
The smoke has really gotten bad here. It doesn't really matter what the temp is because I'm not going out!
I took these from the top of a 10-story building that's sitting on top of a hill. There are valleys on either side. And somewhere behind all of that smoke, there are mountains.
Hot and stormy here too. We've had haze for a couple of weeks at least from the western fires. I'm guessing that we may have a colder winter because of all the shade created by the smoke. mani
says this has happened in Australia. I wonder if there will be fewer fires next year?
