We had a beautiful week of weather with temps in the 70's and no humidity, that is until today. We had to turn the a/c back on since it got up to 88 F and supposed to get into the 90's tomorrow.
Crazy weather here. It was 96º at our house on Friday which is very unusual. This morning I woke up to a thunderstorm, also unusual here. We had a few minutes of rain, wind, thunder, and lightning. Neat to watch but the lightning strikes here in California have been starting vegetation fires because everything is so dry.
Our electric company is doing rolling power outages throughout the state to conserve energy during the heat wave. Ours went back on after a few hours, but my sister is going on 20 hours without power.
It's 73ºF right now, just perfect, so far, but will be going up about 20 more degrees by afternoon.
To any of you in the west going through this heat wave, hope you can stay cool!
Supposed to be in the low to mid 80's until next weekend and then drop to high 70's for a day or two before going back to the low 80's. Hopefully that means Fall is coming!!!
