We got a lot of rain today so the temps stayed mostly in the 70s! It came with thunder and lightning and one of our trees was struck. It blew my squirrel feeder right off. My DS was sobbing he was so concerned for the squirrels. It was empty because I didn’t want the squirrels planting any seeds in my garden. It looks like the tree might be ok though. I’d rather replace the feeder than the tree!

Temps got up to 88 F with stinking high humidity. I can't wait for cooler temps so I can turn off the a/c and open the windows.

It's in the nineties and it is supposed to stay there until Sunday. It has been like this from the beginning of the week. The longer it goes the more the heat builds. I think it is because things like buildings, sidewalks and pavement absorbs heat and then releases it at night. It doesn't cool off as much at night so the heat just builds and builds.

Every day seems hotter and more humid than the one before. 🥵 The only good thing about the weather today is that it's raining out now.

87F, humid, and almost no wind. All I have to do is stick my head outside to start sweating- and not so long ago I had to wear coveralls while working in weather like this.

Today was horrendous - temp was 93 F but heat index up to 105. It was a good day to stay indoors with a/c.

It's 19*C and we just had a little mini thunderstorm and it's currently still raining. According to the radar map, the storm isn't over yet and it looks like my area might get hit again...my town is just outside of where the radar map shows more intensity, so a shift in the wind could sent it right over us. It's definitely going to be raining until the afternoon. Were supposed to get a high of 24*C (34*C with the humidity).

Not as bad as what the news says it is. To me at least. It's 81 with 89 heat index but this is summer. Yesterday here wasn't as bad either as the news made it out to be for St Louis in the summer. Our local weather people realize that in St Louis, situated between 2 rivers it's going to be hot and humid every summer but they like to make it sound like it's something new to be this hot. Lived here 64 years and every summer is hot and humid.

Low 80's, partly cloudy with humidity. Not the worse day we've had but not the best either.

70 degrees with 73 heat index. Severe storms, tornadoes and hail on the way for next 4 hours. The cats knew it before our very unreliable weatherman did as they took off for the bushes (without eating) an hour ago.

Ugh! 93 F with heat index of 98-103. 👎 When will it end?
