We've had a lot of snow (the most for about five/six years) this week but it's set to rain tomorrow. It's been freezing all week as well.

I cannot believe the wind.. It is incredible.
In my state, there are at least 400,000 houses without power.
My lights keep going on and off.. all day long.
Gusts are 60+ mph.. with a few over 90mph....
this is ridiculous..

got all my emergency stuff out... wearing a wrist watch to bed.. tired of resting the clock radio.

It was so windy here yesterday and all last night. Our power went out for 2 hours yesterday and we had no heat. It was bitter cold outside with the wind. My back yard is a mess with all the tree limbs on the ground.

65° F right now with yet another high wind advisory. 30 mph sustained with gusts 50-60 mph (so...normal for this time of year).
Nothing like the East Coast however. You guys stay safe and warm.

tried to go out this afternoon to throw some trash out... Nope..
There is around 3-4 inches of water in the parking area..
Three Large Pine Trees are down ~~ uprooted. It is a good thing they fell to the side, away from the building, and power lines.

I think it is a bit receded. I went out, and found a piece of a small branch in front of
my car ~ still some water in there.

Yep, I was one of them. :agree: Thankfully it's back on and we're working on getting water out of the basement.

The wind was unreal. It's still pretty windy out there today!

And another high wind advisory. 35 mph with gusts at 55 mph. At least it's sunny right now, around 50° F.

There's lightning in the distance. Lightning! There's a big snowstorm heading this way (Quinn? I think) but I wasn't expecting lightning.

Snow has stopped.. a bit chilly. It is heavy wet snow out there, almost slush. You can feel the increased humidity from it. It will not take much for this to melt, or freeze solid.

Still so much water, everywhere. There are 3300 people without power in my city. That is right in the middle of the city. Many trees came down. The water in the Marsh is so high. I have never seen it so high.. and this is at low tide. I cannot imagine it at High tide. The snow on top of the water is really mind-blowing.

...with the cats...
we're forecast to get up to 10 inches of snow over the next two days and nights. :sigh: it may be more and could be less, that actually ends up happening. i'm close enough to the lake that we get lake effect snow, and that can change the snow fall amounts.

It's 62° F and partly cloudy. It finally quit raining and I was going to put on shorts and wash my car (it's disgusting). But, it's supposed to start raining again tomorrow. Maybe I'll just move it outside.

We got at least 20 inches of snow. The neighboring cities got 20-22 inches. Have not seen the total for my city. So much snow...

It is already melting off the balcony railings.. the icicles from the balcony above me, are melted.
This snow will not be around for long.. perhaps a week.. then gone.

They are saying another storm next week: Tuesday into Wednesday..:gaah:

We got 20 inches, too. The sun has already melted the good 6 inches of snow off my faux balcony railing. The cats seemed to enjoy watching the clumps of snow fall off.
