17 F this morning with a high of 39 F, so it didn't get as low last night as what they had forecast (Earlier this week, they had been saying around 10 F). Thankfully the wind has died down, at least for now. Partly cloudy today.

Rick is in complaining mode now. He has to go out with The Beast in the morning and he's not particularly amused. He goes from a warm bed to the cold outdoors. "C'mon, Beast, let's go out into the freezing world. Pee quickly!"

Sunny... but cold. -3 C / 27 F. Coldest morning so far. Also windy. Leaves are falling off the trees and landing everywhere.

Fall has finally arrived in our neck of the woods here in Texas. The average temp these days is all the way down to the mid-80s.

Winter will be here tomorrow. Today was 70° with a low of 45°. Tomorrow will be in the 40's with a low in the teens. And it's not going to warm up again until spring.
And it really looks like it could snow.

It's been unseasonably mild the past few days with temps. of 55 F but that's going to change soon. Expected temps. of 30 F by the middle of the week.

we're in the process of the weather shifting from mild (50's F, during the days) to downright cold (mid 30's F, during the days) here -- a very messy business involving much high gusty winds, currently rain but will change over to snow soon enough.

Right now it's pouring down rain. It's 49 degrees and the temp is supposed to drop all day. By the weekend we'll know it's winter.

It's cold and breezy. We had flurries flying last night, but fortunately, they didn't last long. Out high today is to be around 37 F. The weather weenies are talking about clippers coming through on Sunday, next Tuesday, and next Thursday. An active weather pattern for the next week.

I believe the temp here in southern Maryland 38. I heard on the weather that we may get up to 3 inches of snow tonight. That is not much but it is enough to keep me off the streets tomorrow.

I was listening to the radio last night when the announcer came on to give the weather..and I quote "current temperature on the mountain is...Brrr"

I'm happy to say here in this part of CALIFORNIA we don't do snow! The temps we consider ARTIC at night are freezing or ALMOST freezing. During the day we are whining and it's actually 65 to 75! If it snowed here we would have to shutdown because we do not have equipment to move the stuff.
