Already have that planned there is a table with a nice thick slab of wood i plan to mount a vise ontoI would thing bigger - you are probably going to need a work bench with shelves or bins for all the tools you will be accumulating.

I wanted vertical cause I am afraid graycie will get stuck or hang herself trying to get past the horizontal blindsourvwindows have no sills so when she pokes her nose past them she will see no silly to walk ontoMy stepdad gave DH one of his aviation toolboxes when he took an inspector position and didn’t need multiple at work anymore. That thing is an awesome beast! But its on wheels and has started to tip when more than one drawer got opened. My kids have been sternly warned about that danger! But I do like how it holds everything and has a good work surface on top.
When I think vertical blinds I remember the noise of the cats and dog making the slats clank. Mom didn’t keep them up long because they were just on the door to a family room addition on their house. The kitchen has no exterior windows so its darker with any blinds.
Easy for you( me too)..... some people take forever in making choices.... my Mother wouldve shopped for weeks to pick out blinds(& drag me along, lol)Choosing blinds is so easy just picked vertical blinds and let gf pick out the rest
I had perches built for all my windows and they rrally love them ,my house is just walls of step shelves and cat walkways to everywhere & no where.....I wanted vertical cause I am afraid graycie will get stuck or hang herself trying to get past the horizontal blindsourvwindows have no sills so when she pokes her nose past them she will see no silly to walk onto

That's terrificJust went to the fire dept’s monthly meeting. God those guys are heroes! The chief read out the list of emergency calls for the past 2 months…most seem to occur at ungodly hours. Still, I’m thinking of volunteering. Maybe I could at least redirect traffic or help carry the hose.
i thought about doing that until gf said how are we supposed to get graycie down when its time for a vet visit?I had perches built for all my windows and they rrally love them ,my house is just walls of step shelves and cat walkways to everywhere & no where.....

Gotta love it!
Awww'- they sure love soaking up the sunMy mom had the same cat tree Kwik . It was perfect when they had 3 cats and a large family room. Then they moved to a smaller house in another state and said it was too big and only brought part of it. Then they moved back to their house here and now Olivia has no tree at all.
Shes 20 this month and moves just fine; but she seems content going from couch to bed to the back of an upholstered chair in front of a window instead of to the top of the tree. They also have a glass storm door to the foyer that puts some nice sunny, heat right on the stairs. Olivia and every other cat and dog they’ve had have snoozed on the bottom step in the sun while keeping an eye on the neighborhood. I think she missed that more when they moved.
