My stepdad gave DH one of his aviation toolboxes when he took an inspector position and didn’t need multiple at work anymore. That thing is an awesome beast! But its on wheels and has started to tip when more than one drawer got opened. My kids have been sternly warned about that danger! But I do like how it holds everything and has a good work surface on top.

When I think vertical blinds I remember the noise of the cats and dog making the slats clank. Mom didn’t keep them up long because they were just on the door to a family room addition on their house. The kitchen has no exterior windows so its darker with any blinds.

I wanted vertical cause I am afraid graycie will get stuck or hang herself trying to get past the horizontal blinds😅ourvwindows have no sills so when she pokes her nose past them she will see no silly to walk onto

Just went to the fire dept’s monthly meeting. God those guys are heroes! The chief read out the list of emergency calls for the past 2 months…most seem to occur at ungodly hours. Still, I’m thinking of volunteering. Maybe I could at least redirect traffic or help carry the hose.

My mom had the same cat tree Kwik Kwik . It was perfect when they had 3 cats and a large family room. Then they moved to a smaller house in another state and said it was too big and only brought part of it. Then they moved back to their house here and now Olivia has no tree at all. :dizzy:

Shes 20 this month and moves just fine; but she seems content going from couch to bed to the back of an upholstered chair in front of a window instead of to the top of the tree. They also have a glass storm door to the foyer that puts some nice sunny, heat right on the stairs. Olivia and every other cat and dog they’ve had have snoozed on the bottom step in the sun while keeping an eye on the neighborhood. I think she missed that more when they moved. :redheartpump:

I have been looking forward all week to sending M to PDO today. Especially after yesterday when she refused to nap. And just being really difficult.

So of course she woke up in the middle of the night vomiting. I feel terrible she doesn't feel well, but also sad my 3.5 hours of napping, drinnking coffee, and watching shows without kids constantly touching and talking to me has been canceled.

I am supposed to finally get Izzy's eye drops today. Sat at the vets office yesterday for a couple hour as they were booked solid. They ended up using a eye wash on her eye and put a different eye drops in while we were waiting for this script. She has not been bad with the previous ointment but its obvious she does not like drops which was very evident at the vets. So I am probably going to have a panther on my hands. I have Inuba Juicy Bites scallop and crab on hand ( no gums as she cannot tolerate any gums) for bribery.as she never gets seafood. I'll go get sardines if I need to.
The company I got the drops from refunded my overnight $ 20 shipping cost. I hope this med is still good and cold when I get it. The vet did not charge me yesterday either.
