I have been getting random messages about not being able to deliver packages because they need to 'verify my information', which is odd- especially when I haven't ordered anything. My standard response is to dump the email. Were I you, I wouldn't give the scammers squat. Your gf is right on this one.
Mark as Spam and block. I get those constantly.

I can just picture the fur flying around here next week. It seems that Michele's sister is going to Florida, and she is leaving her cat with us while she is gone. Yay. The last 'intruder'- Miss Eleanor- was six years ago, so I don't know as the residents will take too kindly to the new, albeit temporary, situation. Michele plans to have our cats shut in the bedrooms, with food, water, and litter boxes, while Vinnie has the run of the house at night, with another litter box for his use. This whole thing shapes up to be......interesting.

Glad to have above freezing today and tomorrow. Got 1 car washed and waxed today. The 2nd car to wash and wax tomorrow. The deep freeze is to arrive this Saturday through much of next week.
According to the latest weather report I saw today, the high temps for Saturday through Tuesday, at least, are supposed to be in the single digits to the low teens. I pity those people attending the playoff game Sunday evening. Frostbite, anyone?

@ game misconduct. Remember what I said about one project after another? Well, Michele just came up with another one. About a year ago, I built one of those Dumas wooden model boat kits for Michele's sister- one of those kits that cost almost $100. Well, she saw a wood and acrylic display case somewhere on the internet, and now she wants me to build one to hold that boat. I have enough cherry left from the 'TV set' cat bed project, sooooo........

I saw that the weather guessers are saying that a -25F windchill is likely come Sunday. With single digit highs.

I could use some tiny projects to distract my husband from his ever growing big ones. Like installing an electric hoist/elevator thing in the attic (which is over the garage) so you don’t have to take stuff up and down the ladder. Hes been dream/planning that one for a while. I haven’t been ready to take the plunge.

The thing about homeownership; there are always more projects. Some are just more fun than others! 🤪
My mom has been considering to hire someone to install an elevator.my dad who had a stroke stills tries to go upstairs with out his cane
After lunch he walks back to the kitchen with a mug, heavy glass dish, and coke bottle in both hands. I feel like I sould move in to help but I love my cats too.

Back yard neighbors wonder how fast they could find a plate if peanuts or birdseed
I loved feeding blue Jay's though they made a mess
IPad a suare hanger with whole peanuts. Every day,all day, they fly down, caw real loud, grab a nut,and fly away. I'm sure the yard workers didn't like dealing with it. Tons of dovea, finches,,blue Jays, sparrows, wrens, mocking birds, grakles, and the texas bird cardinals! Devouring the sunflower seed. Miss it. The sparrows play together in the sky or tug a war with sticks. No more aloud. I need my own house

Speaking of your tv cat bed project… The other day I saw a picture where someone made a retro tv set cabinet to fit their flat screen modern tv in. It was really cute!! My bestie dresses and sews vintage style. Her house is decorated vintage too. That would be SO perfect for her. And it looked nicer than a lot of tv mounts do these days!

The surgery I had to stop seizures didn't work. Insurance stopped paying so I went a couple days without. Yesterday was really bad. I stayed the night with my mom. The day before yesterday I had an email I never read that my meds were ready
O darn! I am so sorry. You were very brave to do it. One day they will find a cure for this. It will largely be because of people like you willing to try new methods. ❤

On my mind is how much I'm not enjoying my PSW program. I decided to indefinitely give up on design (market is bad, I'm far from any notable major cities for ID jobs) and pursue a career in healthcare since I don't plan on living in a big city anymore but it's really getting me down. I'm just disappointed that I can't have both the job I want and also the life I want.

Maybe you can fulfill your creative design side “on the side.” My degree is in Interior Design but I also live where that doesn’t make you money. Healthcare could give you a good, stable income that allows you time for designing on the side as you want to or find opportunities. Maybe even to focus on what designs you are passionate about instead of having to focus on filling your bank account.

DD and I have talked about this some lately as she’s thinking of college in a few years. Nothing wrong with studying different things or working in something unrelated to your degree. Sometimes just having a degree is a big point in your favor.
