Would you believe a USPS carrier asked me where to find 4502 as she was on the property staring at the sign on the Bldg(4500-4502)!!!!:disappointed:

I said" you're here, what is the problem"? Well, she said" some of these addresses say 4500& others say 4502 so where is 4502? I told her I thought it was a job requirement to be able to count because there are 216 UNITS here ,no difference if it 4500 or 4502,every unit is in numerical order ,I even gave her an example ( there's only ONE Unit " 150" here, doesn't even matter what bldg ABCDEF or G----its in NUMERICAL ORDER- the little line in the middle tells you the property spans over 2properties- 4500 all the way through 4502!!!!

Do you know she still didn't understand,I actually had to walk her past a few units to show her the numbers and besides - there's a COMMUNITY MAILROOM!!!!! This woman actually told me she was nit delivering the mail because our addresses are wrong and she left, with our mail!:nono:

After that I called the Postmaster General who directed me to the right person at her branch..... she's long gone btw,I'd imagine she may work inside
Sounds like that mail carrier is a real nitwit. It's Scary to think their still working somewhere within the Post Office.

Bought myself a typical black suitcase, the kind that everybody else has. I’m trying to think what tiny distinguishing doodad to attach to it so I can find it in a carousel. :headscratch:
Many people tie a bright colored ribbon to their suitcases and I do too but I do the "curly thing " by running the scizzor blade across it like you to to wrap a gift- I spot my neon pink curly ribbons very easily- I've never seen any other curly ribbons at the airport, lol

Look in the children’s section for old fashioned “slap bracelets”. They curl around your handles nicely and have unique bright patterns. Here is a picture of a bracelet on my luggage

I have dementia on my mind. I mention in a post last winter that I thought my sister was losing her memory. Today we went for fingerprinting for our aunt’s conservatorship and we each had to write a check to pay for ours. my sister was called back to the counter because she hadn’t fully completed the check. Even looking at the check she didn’t know what she had missed and had to be shown. She had not completed the amount in all numbers on the right hand side of the check, a basic part of check writing. Scary and sad to see not be able to figure out something so basic.

I’m so sorry. I’ve been reading articles in the Guardian on this that really indicates they’re making progress.Hopefully in time to help your aunt!

We aren't big on movies or sports, so we just have an antenna up in our attic that costs $0 per month, and pulls in something like 50 or 60 stations from as far away as Toronto. It fills our needs.

I have watched tons of stuff on Netflix. The one I keep going back to is Lucifer because it makes me laugh!

I have several subscriptions, but with my mobility being what is, and being in my house without going out more than an hour or so a month, varied TV and lots of books is a sanity savior! I have Amazon Prime, Hulu (best for network tv) and Netflix (best for movies). I also get Britbox, Discovery +, and Paramount + through my Prime membership. I adore British sitcoms and crime shows, and I NEED Paramount + for the NCIS franchis!
