planning to put 3 litter boxes for graycie in our new house once we buy one thinking to use a couple of 32 ounce deli cups(have plenty for my bugs) to pack her old used litter into them so i can mix into her new boxes think that will be enough for her to know right off they are hers? or should i pack poop and pee instead? she will also have a cat tree in the most used rooms we got plenty already

Somewhere on this board someone recently asked what folks favorite gadget was. Can’t find it but I just bought one for my brother in law that I could not live without, and had to mention it since it is a great gift for absent minded people. It is called a Tile, and it is a phone and key (or other object) finder. It hangs on your key ring with an app on your phone. If you can’t find your keys, you tap on the app and it will make your keys ring, and if you can’t find your phone, you can tap on the tile on your keys and your phone will ring loudly as long as it’s within 250 feet of the Tile. Its only $20 and only needs its button battery changed once a year.
If you lose your phone you can tap on the Tile and your phone will ring- got that part but if you lose your keys then the " Tile " rings thsts attached to the key ring- is thst it?

My problem is if I go out then I put my phone in my purse, when I come home and put my purse away I forget to take out my phone - hours later I'm looking all over the house and the car for the phone - the phone is with the keys!

Might be a good idea for me to buy a Tile and just keep it where I always keep my phone- then I'd hear it's in the purse- great

Perfect- the used litter will be plenty scent without the " extra"..... even just a little ontop of new litter

Are you planning on new boxes,is that your concern? Keep her old ones before you change them out to be safe--- this way it's not new place, new spot, new box.....no matter how good you clean an old box cats can smell their scent

It's funny that even though dogs have more scent receptors than cats and both species have a vomeronasal organ its been found that cats utilize this organ more & more efficiently - giving cats the ability to identify specific pheromone scents- they can distinguish "better".... so Graycie will certainly smell her own box

Maybe start her off in your room so she doesn't get overwhelmed and she can have a little safe place in case she feels stressed. The as shes exploring shell know where to run to if anything seems scarey at first. She follows you around anyway though, right?

She's going to love her new house!

That is great for our gadgets, now they need to invent something so my husband can find his glasses.

If you lose the phone and keys together, then I think you are out of luck unless you also have a tablet with the Tile app on it.

planning the purchases i will make since i will have the room for them in a house versus our little apartment bow flex home gym that i can use to regain muscles and really push my one good arm, a good iron and board so i can starch and crease up my clothes again:yess:
You might also want to consider a rowing machine. Easy to move around, great for arms and legs.

Couple of cat shelfs or a tall tree by this wall and I can turn it into the ultimate safe spot for graycie to sleep after I lay a blanket and stuff up there, master bedroom also has this odd upper stash area i can make use of for graycie
