I was going to get my covid booster this weekend, but I forgot. The new one is out, right? The one that protects against the newest variant? Rite Aid closed down, so I don't have my records. Will they just give me the booster anyway? Probably go to Walgreens. I don't think Walmart does it anymore. I lost my card too.

I go to my doctor November 10. Can I get a Covid booster there?
I got mine at a flu clinic via Walgreens after church. They told me I didn't need my card anymore

My brother just told me that Walgreens bought Rite Aid. So maybe they will have my records. Yeah, my doctor said they don't have the Covid vaccine. Bummer that would have been convenient. That would be great if I didn't have to carry that blasted card around anymore! I hate paper, I only like digital.

Well; seasons are definitely changing. I unloaded my grocery pickup order from Walmart and found they’d tucked this year’s Toy Book in there. My son got right to it.

DD doesn’t get excited anymore so I’m savoring it with him. We actually got Amazon’s catalog back in September but this one just feels more realistic. I could appreciate spreading out shopping too.

I remember those days - such fun. My son would spend hours pouring over the toy catalogs from Sears and others, circling the items he liked the best. It sure made getting him the right gifts easier.

Geez, seems like I haven't been here since May. How is everyone doing?
A lot was going on in my personal life and I guess I forgot to log on...
I started treatment for my anxiety because things were getting really bad due to an unknown health scare. I graduated from my program. My partner and I got an apartment in another city and moved out of his parents place. I got to see my uncle in person and spend some time with him. Felix turned 13 years old and he's finally back in my care after over a year of being with my mom. I got my full drivers license. I've discovered that my dad has autism and decided to try and have a relationship with him again.
Trying to find a job has been very difficult but we are doing okay. Hope everyone is well! :) I'll try to log on more often.

Oh gosh, I remember those catalogues. Sears, JC Penney, etc. We'd go crazy looking for the toy sections and spend hours pouring over them. About 12 years ago we found an old JC Penney Christmas catalogue at my Grandma's from the 80's. It looked so weird! I'm sure Mom still has it.

Yes, welcome home, Graceful-Lily Graceful-Lily !

What's on my mind is that I cannot find my All My Books program files in Drop Box OR OneDrive, which means I may have to re-enter ALL MY BOOKS, all 2500 of them (no, I don't own more than 1250-1300 now, but there's a "to buy" function) by hand. Again.

What can I make with pickles? I have a lifetime supply open in the fridge. Somebody on here told me to try refrigerated pickles, that they are much better than the shelf stable ones. I told dad about it & he bought me a tub of them on the same day I also bought a huge one! Plus I already had a jar of ghost pepper pickles opened in there. So now I have 3 containers of opened pickles!!! One is spicy ghost pepper, one is plain dill, and one is bread & butter pickles.

OneDrive is owned by Microsoft. Try going into the MS store and looking there. It should show that you own it and just a reinstall is needed.

I've come across some online and as wrapping for stuff that was in my moms attic. They are SUPER nostalgic! We found a JcPenny bridal catalog up there and WOW that was hysterical!! My daughter was less than impressed with true (early) 90s fashion.

Gosh I can put pickles in a lot but I'm not vegan or vegetarian. I like dicing pickled sweet cherry peppers and adding them to my eggs when I cook them. Tuna gets sweet relish. Burgers and sandwiches can get any kind of pickle. I have pickled sweet red onions for sandwiches and they are SO good. About once a week I make "turkey chops" and put it on a toasted bun with some gold bbq sauce (it has bbq and mustard basically) and add some of those plus a few roasted red peppers. So so good! I will put one alongside my sandwiches sometimes too. They often work better as a finisher or garnish than main ingredient.

Now I'm glad I have plans to go by the store where I get refrigerated pickles.

Yes, they were in the outhouse but not used as TP. They were there just to pass the time and keep your mind off all the nasties that were in there with you.
We had those there at camp. Of course I was more concerned about holding the door handle so I wouldn't fall in. And making sure my cousins weren't outside being pests.
