Years ago a kitten of mine darted into the dryer just as I was shutting the door, catching her tail in the door and breaking it. She just stood there crying with her crooked tail and I cried along with her. I do not start washers or dryers until I do a head count (usually 3 times) and make sure I have my phone. Laundry day paranoia doesn't even begin to describe it!

The chairs are comfortable and much easier for Mum to get out of than the old ones, being higher. I put all the vinyl I have around them, I hope Phoebe leaves them alone. She destroyed the front of the old ones!
Daisy was first to try them out! She hadn't been interested earlier - she spends her time on my bed - but while Mum was in the shower she came out and tried the empty one.
