Sad--- LLBean has really cut down on quality and sales. It used to awesome, but since they began making their clothes, boots, etc, in China, the quality has incredibly tanked.
I will say that 99% of my winter stuff is from LLBean and old..
I agree, most of my LLBean winter clothing is several years old. These current prices are scary especially If free shipping isn't included.

New city, new vet, and I'm wondering how it cost me over $2,200 to get a few of Felix's teeth extracted. The vet charged $507 for cleaning between 20 - 40 minutes but told me it didn't take that long. They charge flat rate for the cleaning so as long as its between that time, you get billed that amount. But he has little to no teeth left. They told me they had to take tarter off because it can cause infection when they extract. I wish I never went there. But even without the cleaning, the price is still well above what his regular vet charges... *sigh*

HUGS I'm so sorry. It's an ouchy.

Sadly this is about typical for my area. Min 1,500 for 2 -3 teeth and that's IF they don't find other things. Hopefully, they did x-rays as well.

That's pretty much the reason why I take mine up to a Dental Specialist, more expensive but he does before and after x-rays to check all the pieces and roots are out. He's 2,200 -2,800 sometimes more depending on the number of teeth but on average, he saved me more than letting the regular vet do the work. It includes full cleaning as well.

My friend just had her little one in for a couple of teeth to be removed and it was 1,800 - no x-rays and I had a heart attack that they didn't do x-rays.

Spawn 1 just called. MY SECOND GRANDSON IS ON HIS WAY! His name will be Wells!
Congratulations! Welcome and Happy Birthday to little Wells. Tell Spawn 1 to enjoy the scrunchy potato phase. I'm looking at my sleeping almost 8 month old and feeling wistful it went too fast (although this age is also delightful).

Thank you, Lari Lari , this is his second, so he knows. My DIL had a c-section, so they will be in the hospital for a couple of days, yet. Wells was a tiny bit premature, but doing VERY well, and will come home with mama, no issues. He was due JUST before Christmas.

How long can we go without calling it baby weight? I mean middle school isn’t too much right?

In reality I wish I weighed what I weighed after my kids were born. I mean it was still too much; but not as much as I’m carrying around now either. I’ve lost a little just eating a little less. Its slower but I think I’ll maintain it better this way. Sustainable. DH is after an exercise bike too. So maybe that will be a good way to get some consistent cardio in.

I just told a friend of mine the other day it was time for me to put the treadmill back together (I set it "up" in the warm months as there's tons of things to do outside), but, I need to gain/maintain some muscle over the winter.

Received some unfortunate news from my car insurance company. Seems the revised repair cost has now exceeded the repair threshold by over $6k. So the car is now considered Totalled. Now to take the buyout go car shopping again. It's doubtful with car prices as they are. The same brand and model can be had.
