Oh no, I'm so sorry, did I miss something, did you have an accident? Glad it's not broken, take care and try to pamper it for now.🤗

I'm having a sweet potato with a veggie hummus spinach wrap. DH is having a broccoli and swiss cheese chicken kiev with a baked potato and salad. Mocha chocolate chip yogurt bars for dessert.
I was outside watering and did a ' face plant' .I was not near anything, not the hose nothing just walking up a slight incline on the side of the house felt my toe catch and before in even realized it I fell, so my entire hand back and palm is black and blue. I had my my lace up ankle brace , and boots on and all and still went down.It is not getting worse but I think it will take time for it to heal. I have a lot to do but it will have wait or have some help in the meantime. Like you said I need to pamper it.

Making lamb kofta skewers and okra and tomatoes tonight

I have never heard of Kosciusko mustard so I had to look it up. Kosciusko Mustard won a gold medal at the 1998 Napa Valley Mustard Festival World-Wide Mustard Competition. I looked it up online at the store here I thought would most likely have it and sure enough there it was. Growing up Guldens Mustard was the house favorite. So now I will have to try Kosciusko Mustard.
If you look at amazon, there are choices to be made...for me anyway.I'm sure what the grandparents had was the spicy brown, but I see there's also a coarse grain as well as one made with beer. Not a fan of beer so that's probably a no,but will get the other two.I cannot wait!

I made a pull-apart pizza bread from the cover of the new King Arthur catalog that came in the mail yesterday. Rick saw it when he brought the mail in the house and asked me if I would make it. I looked at the recipe and had all the ingredients, so that was our dinner. Yeah, it's supposed to be a bread, but I put sausage and red peppers on the top before baking. And I used a container of pizza sauce from the freezer, heated in the microwave, as a dip. It was very good and quite filling for a Sunday night. There are a couple pieces left and I have a feeling they'll be gone while he is watching tv tonight.

Lunch will be a honey ham and Swiss sandwich. Yes, I broke down and got sandwich makings. It is just TOO hot for more than one hot meal a day, SO...I have honey ham, roast beef, and sandwich-sliced pepperoni, with Swiss, mild Cheddar, and Provolone cheeses to go with. Dinner will be pork patties, creamed corn, and green beans (I had to type that three times. I kept typing "green beens' or "grean beans," darn it).

Have not been on for a while... busy..
Saturday was a shopping expedition with a couple of friends-- looking for an engagement party dress for one of them. We did not find anything, so she decided to re-use a dress she has at home.

Went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch/early supper.. Delish!
I had a grilled piece of salmon with real mashed potatoes, and broccoli. A glass of Sangria and of course, Cheesecake finished off the meal! I ordered a Basque Cheesecake-- OMG! not to be disappointed! So creamy! it was topped with mixed berries.. so good!

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I was having computer trouble but it's A-ok now. I'm sorry about your "face plant" but take it one day at a time. I hope you will be on the road to recovery and feel better soon. 🤗

Sunday we picked up dinner at a Mid-Eastern restaurant we really like. Mocha chip yogurt bar for dessert. Monday I made a large beet salad with sautéed veggies and a whole wheat roll. Blackberries for dessert. Tonight I'm making flatbread pizza and will have a honeycrisp apple for dessert.

Love computers ( not really), but sometimes it seems like we can't live with them or without them. Glad your is back in the world of the working.

Well, I was going to have a pepperoni sandwich last night, buy opted for honey ham, so the pepperoni will be tonight's lunch. Dinner will be pork patties with veggies...I forget which ones. HAD planned that for last night, but was feeling a bit off, so just had a frozen, microwaveable bacon cheeseburger. They are...indifferent. Not much to like, not much to hate, but perfect for when I'm not feeling my best. I don't much care about taste when I'm like that, anyway.

I don't blame you a bit!When it's as hot as it has been,I'd so much rather have a sandwich than a hot meal.Well,that is,unless I'm having a craving for soup,lol!

We have had a couple of chilly, fall-ish days here.
Yesterday was a very long bocce day. Did not get in the apartment until 2pm! That is when I had my lunch: an apple with some peanut butter.

I was chilled. I get that way when I am overtired from lack of sleep; so I went down to grab a cup of Israeli lentil soup. It sounds better than what it was.. but it warmed me..

Today, who knows.. nothing on the menu is appetizing to me: fish and chips or pulled chicken on a roll. The bread coating on the fish is thicker than the fish itself. The 'chips' are usually greasy. The pulled 'chicken' is dry, with the B-B-Q sauce very sweet, and too much is used...

May just bake a huge sweet potato for supper. It is another cool day. Or I could have my family's version of a stove top frittata--- sliced potatoes, cooked stove top, with an egg...

I did get a salad last night, to keep for lunch. That will be for today.

We had to pick up prescriptions on Monday, so stopped at Red Robin for a burger.
I wasn't feeling well yesterday and Rick wasn't home, so I made a quick tuna sandwich, had some blueberries, and that was supper.

Not sure about tonight. I'm either going to make a meatloaf or French onion salisbury steaks. I'm leaning toward the salisbury steaks, maybe with noodles instead of the bread. And glazed carrots.
