The best part of making a big pot of chili is having leftovers which is what we both had tonight. Honeycrisp apple for dessert.

I took out a small container of tomato sauce. Had that with some small pasta jells for supper.
For 12 days, I have been living on: Soup, chips, water, bread & butter... due to the flu..Slowly improving.

Rick bowled last night, so we had our weekly frozen pizza.
Tonight will be sloppy Joes with a few French fries.

I made buttermilk biscuits,grilled a ham steak and fixed obrien potatoes for dinner.

I had Samosas and spicy Indian food at lunch so was too filled up for dinner. But I kept DH company while he had a turkey burger sandwich with baked potatoes and everything but the bagel seasoning on them.

Made stuffed peppers and a salad that we shared,along with a warmed biscuit with butter.

Lunch at a diner with my friend. Mac & Cheese & I asked for peas to put in it. They also gave me bread & butter. Kinda expensive at $11.29. I didn't ask the price before. Ha!

More chili leftovers last night, just didn't have time to prepare anything but we love chili so no complaints. We shared a raisin bran muffin and then had our honeycrisp apples.

Today was my monthly lunch out with college friends and I had a large chopped salad. It was so big I took half home and had it for dinner.

Yesterday was a 'junk day"... nothing substantial.
After Mass this morning, I read to the deli to pick up some rare roast beef, some Boars Head cheese, some coleslaw and a couplle of plum tomatoes. Tonight will probably be at least 1/2 sandwich on soft sourdough, with coleslaw and some potto chips...

Feel like a nap, right now.. Still have litter box to wash out... sigh.. Going to cuddle...

Saturday night was beef vegetable soup (from the freezer) and popovers.
Tonight will be beef pot pie.
