What's For Dinner? - 2024

I went into the city today and my daughter treated for lunch. I was too stuffed to eat dinner so just had half of a PB&J sandwich with baby carrots. DH was on his own.

I made this loaded baked potato soup in the instant pot. My kids... kind of ate it.

He asked if we could have eggs and toast for dinner,and he will.I think I'll fix myself some peanut butter toast and a hot mug of tea to go with it.

I'm making fusilli pasta to add to lentil vegetable soup and DH is having a chicken kiev with wild rice and salad. Honeycrisp apple for dessert.

A pot of chicken, corn, potato chowder is almost done. I think some crisp bacon to top it off - what do you think? That's what we will have on this chilly, windy evening.

I'm making individual pizzas for us - sautéing fresh veggies for mine and DH wants meatballs and red peppers on his pizza. Mocha chocolate chip yogurt bars for dessert.

Got a couple of fish filet dinners from Woods,with cole slaw and potato salad included.They were so good!

Diner with Papa. He had loaded burger with gravy fries. I had cheese stix & onion rings with marinara & spicy petal sauce. Marinara was cold though! I hate it when they don't warm it up.

We went to our friend's annual White Elephant party today. I'm so stuffed I can't eat a single thing for dinner. Every year I tell myself I'm not going to overeat but guess what? I'm just going to have a cup of tea with a few whole wheat crackers.

Went to old spaghetti factory for dinner since i had a a gift card my cousin had given me yes i opened my Christmas gift early

My sister told me about a new item at Trader Joe's - holiday vegetable hash, so I picked it up while shopping today. I'm going to try it with their veggie fried rice tonight. Blueberry almond milk yogurt and honeycrisp apple for dessert.
