Yesterday, I was going to make some roasted veggies with some baked chicken. Instead, because I was so busy after grocery shopping, on a Sunday. I also cleaned out my cabinet, refrigerator and freezer, found a ton of expired foods, and some for the food pantry.
I was tired, so I made and easy supper: Trader Joes!! Pumpking shaped, butternut squash pasta, with an Autumn tomato sauce; made with butternut squash, tomatoes, garlic, and some cream. I was surprised that it was so good!

May make the chicken this afternoon and use up some more of the pasta stuff.. roast the veggies tomorrow.

We went out for dinner late this afternoon. I had a ribeye and asked for no seasoning at all on my steak (because of salt). They did prepare it that way. Splurged with a naked baked potato, no butter or sour cream, and a Caesar salad. My monthly glass of Coke. It was good. Rick had steak and ribs, with chili and fries. I stole ONE fry!

We had a ton of errands to run so stopped on the way home for mideastern food - I had a falafel rice bowl with hummus and a chopped salad often referred to as Jerusalem salad plus pita bread. DH had a beef and lamb rice bowl. Honeycrisp apple for dessert.
