One of my friends is Srilankan (She Just moved to Canada!), and she cooked up a soup today with beef and noodles, and... oh god... it was so good. It was spicy enough to make your nose run but not terribly spicy. Then my other friend, whose house we were at, made some chicken pot pie. Then ANOTHER friend made some fluff lemon squares. Overall, it was a fantastic night

Goodness knows. It's 5-ish AM here, so nearly 18 hours away from lunch time. PROBABLY pork egg rolls. NO clue about dinner.
egg salad sandwich with chips and Hagan Daz double chocolate chip ice cream for dessert.. It was that kind of a day-- comfort food.
wonton noodle soup again we had cold weather for us here so hot soup with noodles hits the spot 
Last night I threw together a small pan of mac and cheese. There was a bit leftover that he had for lunch today.
Rick said he's hungry for chicken salad sandwiches tonight, so I'm halving a chicken breast. I'll simmer the 1/2 breast for Rick for the salad. I will lightly Panko my half and sauté. Serve with lettuce, caramelized onions, and a sauce that I'll make as I go along. Maybe with a bit of succotash as a side with a few chopped onions and red peppers.

I'm going to reheat some of the chili from the other night and serve over brown rice. This is why I love leftovers and there's plenty of it.

I have never heard of that before.What makes it Filipino style...different seasonings and spices?Sounds interesting!

Oddly I made stuffed squash last night ( no meat ) and Izzy was begging for squash, she won't eat pumpkin. My husband gave her a tiny piece of squash and she inhaled and was patting him for more.

DH is having chicken kiev over wild rice with peas and carrots. I'm undecided but think I may have breakfast for dinner, scrambled eggs with veggies and cinnamon raisin toast. Honeycrisp apple for dessert.
Made Roasted Eggplant, Red Pepper and Tomato Soup
Dunno. No clue at all. Something REALLY quick and easy. This long, drawn-out fall season is killing me with allergies. I'm coughing so much I can't carry on a conversation, and my entire torso hurts from hacking. Maybe a corn dog for lunch and waffles for dinner. Not very healthy, I know, but FAST.

We picked up fresh bagels. DH had chicken salad on his and I had cream cheese w/chives and zucchini on mine. Coffee ice cream for dessert.

I'm not staying out of the kitchen but making an easy dinner. Veggie hummus spinach wrap and a sweet potato for me. DH is having chili leftovers with a salad and whole wheat roll. It's a gruesome looking day so we're both taking it easy. Honeycrisp apple for dessert.
