A chicken fajita bowl. But Sunday, I'm going to cook again! Not sure what, yet. It will come to me!

Last night, I dreamed that I was eating at the old Seven Seas Restaurant in Panama City, Florida, when it was owned by Johnny and Jimmy Patronis. I was eating shish kabobs, stuffed grape leaves, and a wonderful rice pilaf, and drinking Mavrodaphne wine. Stoopy dream. Woke up wanting food that is a bit beyond me... I do have an indoor grill that could (maybe) handle the kabobs, but have no clue how to make the grape leaves, or how to season the rice pilaf the way that Jimmy did (he was head chef, his brother front-of-house manager).

Tonight is the Homecoming football game and I want to stay as far away from the high school as I can so I am heading the opposite direction and will pick up Wendy's tonight.
This ended up back firing on me. There was a crash that had traffic backed up for a couple miles. Wendy's is already 25 minutes away from home so add on more time sitting in traffic and as expected, the food was barely warm when I made it home.

2 nights ago I took soup out of the freezer, so heated that up. 🍲 Grapes for dessert. 🍇

last night I had a veggie hot dog and onions, topped with mustard, ketchup and relish. 🌭 A mini store bought apple pie for dessert. 🥧

Not sure about tonight yet, though I'm thinking maybe something with curry and chick peas. 🍛

but have no clue how to make the grape leaves,
Some stores sell canned or jarred dolmas, which sounds terrible but they actually retain a decent texture and taste very nice once you warm them up (or refrigerate them, if you prefer). If you're really having a hankering they'll do nicely :D.

I might try to make something tonight, I've been lazy and unmotivated for the past week or so and have been eating convenience foods. Frozen burritos last night.

Saturday night, we had apple dumplings. Just apple dumplings. Neither of us was all that hungry and it worked out well.
Not sure about today. We're celebrating our son's 50th birthday at a lunch with our kids. I was told to bring broccoli salad; that's all I know. I doubt we'll eat dinner.
