I had not heard the one about vegetarians and white meat. A lot of people have the idea that vegetarians eat fish. No fish is still meat, there are Pescetarians and the only meat that they eat is fish, but they are not vegetarians. A lot of people do only eat white meat but again they are not vegetarians. I could understand it if this were 50 or 60 years ago but vegetarian and vegan diets are really very mainstream now.
